Job summary

Savage’s Lake Charles, Louisiana facility seeks a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on pickups, tractors, trailers, and other equipment. The role requires troubleshooting hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems, with adherence to safety rules and OSHA guidelines.

A strong focus on reliability, inventory control, and collaboration with the Maintenance Supervisor to document work in the CMMS is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience with hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems.
• Willingness to perform preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor/major repairs and scheduled preventative maintenance on pickups, mobile equipment, tractors and trailers at the Lake Charles, LA facility.
• Assist with other facility mechanical repairs as necessary.
• Maintain shop cleanliness and parts inventory.
• Learn and partner with Maintenance Supervisor to utilize the CMMS system for maintenance records.
• Ensure all work complies with regulatory requirements.
• Follow safety procedures and assist with updating maintenance procedures as needed.
