Job summary

Certis Biologicals is seeking a Field Development Manager to lead field trial programs, develop performance data across crops, and support product development in the Northeast USA. You will work with academic partners, private contractors, and customers to drive trials and reporting.

The role requires a graduate degree in crop protection-related fields, 2+ years in product development or applied research, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Plant Pathology, Entomology, Nematology, IPM or related crop protection field.
• Minimum 2 years in commercial product development, applied research/extension, or technical sales/marketing in crop protection.
• Demonstrated field research skills, experimental design, and statistical analysis; familiarity with ARM/SAS is a plus.
• Willingness to travel frequently within the territory (may exceed 50%). Occasional travel outside the territory may be required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage field trial programs to develop performance data across crops and act through partners and customers.
• Provide product knowledge training and technical support to regional field sales and demonstrate trials.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Regulatory, and Marketing for launches and market expansion.
• Represent the company at conferences, commodity group events, and scientific meetings.
