Job summary

Valent U.S.A. LLC, a leader in crop protection, seeks a Field Market Development Specialist to drive scientific research and field trials for new products in the Mid-Atlantic region. You will coordinate studies, support sales with university collaborators, and present technical data to stakeholders.

The role requires strong communication, collaboration, and the ability to travel extensively to partner sites and growers while contributing to product concepts and patent discussions.

Qualifications

• Typically, an MS or equivalent with 4–8 years of related experience or a Ph.D. in biological sciences.
• Strong communication, collaboration and customer-focused mindset.
• Willingness to travel and work with university cooperators, growers and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and conduct research trials in the assigned territory to support product development and expansion.
• Conduct sales support trials with university cooperators, pest control advisors, growers and other stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain relationships with market influencers in the territory including university staff and extension personnel.
• Develop technical PowerPoint presentations and literature to support product labeling for meetings and trials.
• Lead and participate in teams and task forces to resolve complex issues and advance company objectives.
