Job summary

Everforth Apex is seeking a field engineer to join a multi-disciplinary team supporting the deployment, operation, and maintenance of an airborne and terrestrial tactical communication system. The role involves hands-on work during ground system installations and integration, with travel to field locations after training.

Responsibilities include hardware installation, network configuration, software deployment, and collaboration with design, production, and customer teams.

Qualifications

• BS degree and 2 years of experience; 4 additional years may substitute for a degree.
• Experience with repair, configuration, troubleshooting and operations of network devices and computer systems.
• Must be able to obtain active Top Secret / SCI clearance before starting.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and support ground system installation and integration as part of a deployment team.
• Support initial deployment, operations, and maintenance of a complex communication system.
• Provide technical support during physical installations of ground segment systems.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams and customers.
• Develop system and process knowledge through cross-functional collaboration.
• Perform hardware installation, network configuration, software deployment, and support customer acceptance testing.
• Maintain certifications and training on current technologies and system upgrades.
• Assist with additional engineering and operational tasks as required.
