Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems in Mayport, FL is seeking a Field Engineer Level 2 or 3 to support ground segment systems, installation, integration, and deployment activities. The role requires working with a multi-disciplinary team across locations including overseas deployments.

The position offers a clear path to work on complex airborne and terrestrial tactical communication systems, with travel up to 25% and requirement for Top Secret clearance. US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree and 2 years experience; 4 years in lieu allowed.
Experience with repair, configuration, troubleshooting of network devices and computer systems (Windows and Linux).
Must be able to use engineering drawings for troubleshooting and documents.
DoD 8570 Certification or ability to obtain within 3 months.

Responsibilities

Be part of Triton Ground Segment IPT overseas and work in multi-disciplinary team.
Perform hands-on tasks during ground system installation and integration.
Support initial deployment, operations and maintenance of the system at various locations.
Work with Military/Government customer and internal NG engineering teams.
Maintain certifications and training for current technologies.
