Job summary

Osmose Utilities Services is seeking Field Data Technicians to collect detailed data on electric utility and telecom facilities. This outdoor role involves hiking between pole spans to capture critical measurements for outside plant engineering and fiber-optic projects.

Training will be provided; expect routine overnight travel, with weekends Home and occasional longer assignments. Starting pay is $24.50/hour with weekly pay, potential bonuses, and additional allowances for vehicle use and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical background preferred.
• Basic knowledge of telecommunications or electrical distribution is a plus.
• Willing to travel overnight 1-2 weeks at a time; outdoor work in all weather.
• Able to read GPS maps and follow processes in a high-quality, fast-paced environment.
• Reliable transportation and strong safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Collect outdoor field data including attachment heights, span distances and angles.
• Submit organized data with maps, notes, and digital images.
• Operate and maintain tablet, camera, measuring tools, and PPE.
• Represent Osmose professionally with project teams.
• Communicate daily with project management and work independently.
