Job summary

Gila County is seeking a Field Data Technician who will gather property information in the field, perform site inspections, and record management tasks. Under close supervision, you will identify and list property while in the field, noting building types and construction materials.

You will enter data into the Assessor software, prepare scaled sketches, manage multiple deadlines, and support organizational planning projects.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, plus 1 year related experience.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License.
• Knowledge of building, construction, mathematics and property valuation.
• Experience with data entry and field measurements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gathers property appraisal information in the field.
• Records management and data entry into Assessor software.
• Prepare sketches of building footprints to scale.
• Manage multiple deadlines and maintain accuracy.
• Meet production quotas and deadlines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
