Santa Fe County seeks a skilled Survey Technician to perform field surveying, GIS asset collection, and data management for Public Works projects. You will support surveying operations, process field data, and generate maps and staking documents.

The role requires experience with survey equipment, topographic surveying, and construction layouts, with emphasis on accuracy and organizational skills. Occasional trips to construction sites and adherence to safety protocols are expected.

Qualifikationen

• Must have field survey experience with construction layout.
• Experience in recording survey measurements and field notes.

Aufgaben

• Operate surveying equipment (total stations, GPS/GNSS, data collectors, levels, drones).
• Perform topographic surveying and construction staking layout.
• Set up and break down field equipment for surveys.
• Use survey control points per project requirements.
• Record measurements and field notes accurately.
• Ensure safety and environmental compliance at sites.
• Process data in Trimble Business Center, Civil 3D, AutoCAD.
• Create/update survey maps, plats, and staking docs.
• Collect and manage GPS asset data.
• Review project scope and organize electronic files.
