Job summary

Gila County Assessor's Office seeks an experienced Database Administrator to manage and upgrade the Assessor's software and related systems. You will ensure data integrity, lead data verification processes, and train end-users across the department.

Reporting to the Assessor, you will collaborate with the County IT team and vendors to troubleshoot, implement enhancements, and maintain compliant property valuations while supporting efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent in a computer-related field with coursework in mass appraisal, statistics, or databases.
• Minimum 5 years of computer system operations, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting with relational databases and appraisal functions.
• Experience with assessor software and data management in a property valuation context.

Responsibilities

• Manage, modify, install, and maintain the database software and hardware, including upgrades.
• Provide technical support for hardware, software, and equipment; train users as needed.
• Develop data verification and quality assurance procedures for accurate assessment rolls.
• Coordinate with the IT department and third-party vendors to troubleshoot and improve systems.
• Ensure compliance with state standards and statutory requirements for property valuations.
