Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Ohio seeks a Foreperson to supervise daily crew operations, coordinate work orders, enforce safety protocols, and mentor field staff. You will communicate with management, property owners, and contractors to ensure on-time completion and quality work.

This full-time, non-exempt role requires a CDL, the ability to travel for storm work, strong leadership and organizational skills, and a commitment to safe equipment operation.

Qualifications

• Understanding drawings and symbols representing lines, voltages, line equipment, etc.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and assigns daily work for the crew after receiving orders from a General Foreperson/Line Clearance Supervisor.
• Conducts field training/retraining, instructing crew on new or revised job units.
• Enforces safe work practices per OSHA and company policy; conducts safety training.
• Discusses issues with property owners; obtains permissions to perform work.
• Maintains records, timesheets, and reports related to crew performance.
• Keeps reports on incidents, equipment issues, and job progress; assists with cost control.
