Job summary

Hoist & Crane Service Group is seeking a Technician—heavy equipment mechanic specializing in cranes—to perform routine maintenance and field repairs at customer sites. The role requires on-call availability and the ability to execute OSHA inspections and servicing in the field.

Travel to customer locations is common, with occasional after-hours work and weekend calls. Candidates should have 0–2 years crane experience, a valid driver's license, basic computer skills, and the willingness to work

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of crane experience in an industrial facility.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work safely and communicate well with others.
• Willing to work off the ground at various heights.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, and upgrading industrial hoists and cranes in the field at customer locations.
• Perform OSHA required hoist and crane inspections and generating inspection reports and repair orders.
• On-call and after-hour services as required.
• Communicate with the Service Manager and Branch Manager to schedule work daily.
• Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles safely and report deficiencies.
• Maintain ability to work with others in a team environment.
• Attend trainings and seminars as required.
• Participate in HCSG 5 Marks program.
• Other duties as assigned.
