Job summary

Velocity Constructors, Inc. is hiring Craftsmen and Laborers to join our field teams building water and wastewater infrastructure across Colorado. You will help safely and efficiently complete projects, loading materials, operating equipment, and supporting excavation and compaction while learning new skills.

Our locally-focused, employee-owned company values dependability, safety, teamwork, and pride in quality. Travel to project sites may be required, with weekend home time when possible.

Qualifications

• Dependable with strong attendance and reliability.

• Willing to learn and take direction on site.
• Ability to work effectively in a field crew.
• Pride in producing quality work.
• Physically capable of demanding outdoor work and weather.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Construction experience is valuable; willingness to learn.
• Experience in process piping, carpentry and/or concrete is valuable for Craftsman level.

Responsibilities

• Work with the field team to safely build Velocity's water and wastewater projects.
• Operate and maintain construction equipment as needed.
• Prepare jobsites; load/unload materials.
• Assist skilled craft workers and assemble/dismantle temporary Structures.
• Support excavation, backfilling and compaction.
• Experienced Craftsmen may work more independently in piping, carpentry and concrete.
