Job summary

Velocity Constructors, Inc. in Colorado is seeking experienced Pipe & Equipment Installers to build water and wastewater infrastructure.

You will install buried and above-ground piping, set process pumps and treatment equipment, and work as part of a crew focused on safety and quality. Reporting to the Project Superintendent, you’ll read the jobsite, plan installations, and support field teams on active projects across Colorado, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience installing pipe and/or process equipment in the construction industry is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with piping systems, pumps, treatment equipment or similar mechanical installations.
• Safety-first mindset and ability to work outdoors in varying weather and jobsite conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install buried and above-ground piping (PVC, ductile iron, steel and copper).
• Install process pumps, chemical-feed equipment and other water/wastewater treatment plant equipment.
• Read the jobsite, plan your work and help complete installations safely and efficiently.
• Work alongside Craftsmen and Laborers to keep projects moving.
• Perform general field and labor duties when needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
• Follow Velocity safety requirements and established construction procedures.
• Take on additional field responsibilities as project needs require.
