Job summary

Entergy Corporation seeks an experienced Field Coordinator to support safety, quality, and compliance in capital projects within Power Delivery and Capital Projects. The role oversees contractor resources across transmission, substation, and distribution sectors and coordinates field activities, outages, and safety initiatives.

The position requires strong leadership, field experience, and the ability to ensure work meets company standards and schedules.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of transmission/distribution line, substation, utility, or project experience.
• 5+ years of field transmission/distribution line, substation, construction experience.
• 7+ years of field transmission/distribution line, substation, construction experience with 3+ years supervisory experience or leading a team/workforce.

Responsibilities

• Identify safety hazards and mitigate hazards on projects; assist with development of project scopes and schedules.
• Lead internal and contract crews in electrical and mechanical tasks related to transmission/distribution construction, operation, maintenance and repair.
• Ensure task completion with QA/QC, field observations, and alignment with project schedule; resolve field construction problems with project team.
• Coordinate material orders, deliveries, equipment staging, site readiness, switching, and hazard plans; support storm restoration activities.
• Monitor safety and performance of contractors and staff; ensure facilities are installed and commissioned per design and company standards.
• Provide input for formal construction plans and proactive mitigation plans; report variances affecting safety, quality, cost or schedule.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Associate’s degree or higher preferred
