Job summary

OBR Cooling Towers is seeking a dedicated crew member for field service on cooling tower projects across the United States. The role involves installation, fabrication, and repair of cooling tower components with limited supervision, emphasizing safety, accuracy, and timely completion.

Travel is extensive depending on project location and duration, with a comprehensive benefits package including health, retirement, HSA, and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and industrial work experience.
• Experience in an industrial workplace.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of mechanical equipment (motors, fans, gear boxes, drives).
• Read blueprints or plans and gather material requirements with Foreman.
• Assist with material selection and layout preparation.
• Mark cuts and assemble using measuring tools and gauges.
• Shape materials to prescribed dimensions and install piping/nozzles.
• Erect framework and assist with other tasks as directed.
• Work at heights with 100% tie-off; support safety procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervision.
