OBR Cooling Towers, LLC in Southern New Jersey is seeking a Cooling Tower Cleaning Technician to perform thorough power washing and cleaning of cooling towers and water storage tanks, ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently. This role requires attention to safety procedures, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and willingness to travel to customer sites across the Northeast. The starting pay ranges from $18 to $24 per hour with overtime when available.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience power washing or industrial cleaning.
• Experience working at heights, in confined spaces, and in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed cleaning of cooling towers and water storage tanks using power washing equipment.
• Operate power washers safely, selecting appropriate spray heads and pressures.
• Assist with pre- and post-cleaning activities, including system preparation and cleanup.
• Follow supervisor instructions to complete projects safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Complete safety documentation, including Job Hazard Analyses and daily logs.
• Read and apply Safety Data Sheets (SDS/MSDS) as required.
• Maintain professional conduct while representing the company at client sites.
