OBR Cooling Towers is seeking a Cooling Tower Cleaning Technician to perform power washing and cleaning of towers and water storage tanks, ensuring safe, efficient operations and compliance with industry standards.

This role involves frequent travel to the Northeast (Maine, New York, New Hampshire, Vermont) and requires early starts, attention to safety, and the ability to work independently or with a team in fast-paced environments. OBR offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience power washing or industrial cleaning.
• Experience working at heights, in confined spaces, and in industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed cleaning of cooling towers and water storage tanks using power washing equipment.
• Operate power washers safely, selecting appropriate spray heads and pressures.
• Assist with pre- and post-cleaning activities, including system preparation and clean-up.
• Accurately follow instructions from supervisors to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
• Complete required safety documentation, including Job Hazard Analyses and daily paperwork.
• Follow all company safety policies, including proper PPE usage and chemical handling procedures.
• Read and apply information from Safety Data Sheets (SDS/MSDS) as required.
• Maintain a professional attitude and strong work ethic while representing the company at client sites.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
