Job summary
OBR Cooling Towers is seeking a dedicated Cooling Tower Cleaning Technician to perform thorough power washing and cleaning of cooling towers and water storage tanks across the Northeast, with travel primarily in Southern New Jersey. You will operate power washers, follow safety procedures, complete required paperwork, and work independently or in teams.
High school diploma and prior industrial cleaning experience are preferred; occasional overnight and early shifts are required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, or equivalent.
- Experience power washing or industrial cleaning.
- Prior experience working at heights, in confined spaces, and in industrial environments.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed cleaning of cooling towers and water storage tanks using power washing equipment.
- Operate power washers safely, selecting appropriate spray heads and pressures for each task.
- Assist with pre- and post-cleaning activities, including system preparation and clean‑up.
- Follow safety policies and SDS/MSDS instructions and complete required paperwork.
- Represent the company at client sites with professional conduct.
