Trane Technologies in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Controls Installation Technician II to install and commission building automation systems at customer sites. You will interpret control drawings, prepare for on-site work, and coordinate with other trades.

The role requires a High School Diploma and 5+ years in HVAC/Controls, knowledge of low voltage electronics and direct digital controls, and a valid driver's license.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; typically 5+ years in HVAC/Controls.
• Technical School or formal training preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and handheld devices.
• Knowledge of low voltage electricity, electronics, and direct digital controls.
• Valid driver’s license for 12 months with clean driving record in the last 3 years.
• DDC controls experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Install building automation systems.
• Read control drawings and install temperature control components.
• Prepare for onsite by assessing layout and coordinating with other trades.
• Maintain inventory and document activities.
• Complete paperwork including time and progress reports.
• Serve as primary customer contact and ensure satisfaction.
• Keep up-to-date with Trane products and DDC controls.
• Inspect and maintain vehicles and tools.
• Adhere to safety standards.
• Occasional travel and overtime as needed.
