Job summary

Carrier Global Corporation seeks an Associate Controls Engineer to design and program building automation systems and site-specific control configurations. You’ll develop interfaces, perform testing, and support sales while owning smaller projects.

Experience with HVAC controls, BAS, or related electrical concepts is preferred. Strong problem-solving, organization, and communication skills are essential for success in this role in the United States.

Qualifications

• HVAC controls, BAS experience preferred.
• Familiarity with electrical schematics and control concepts.
• Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and program building automation systems, site-specific configurations, and control algorithms.
• Adhere to project requirements, technical specs, and standards.
• Create, document, and maintain technical design documents and revision logs.
• Develop graphical and text-based user interfaces for BAS.
• Perform pre-implementation testing on control programming and UI.
• Provide technical support to sales to meet customer tech requirements.
• Identify project opportunities, risks, and testing needs.
