Stanley Martin Homes is seeking a Field Construction Trainer to deliver engaging, field-focused learning for our Neighborhood Construction Managers and field crews. The role supports development of construction processes, safety standards, and customer experience, with remote management and up to 30–40% travel.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in residential construction and proven ability to train, coach, and mentor teams across regions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of residential construction, homebuilding, construction management, field operations, or related experience.
• Experience training, coaching, or leading others in a construction/field environment preferred.
• Ability to travel 30–40% to support field training and division needs.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate engaging construction-focused learning sessions for new hires and field teams using various formats.
• Deliver training on construction processes, quality standards, safety, scheduling, and field systems.
• Provide field coaching and reinforcement to apply training concepts on active jobsites and milestones.
• Collaborate with Learning & Development and division leaders to identify needs and improve training programs.
