Job summary

Stanley Martin Homes in Reston, VA is seeking a Neighborhood Construction Manager to lead on-site operations for a new-home neighborhood. You will manage the construction process from start to finish, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion.

You will coordinate with trade partners, inspectors, sales, purchasing and construction teams, review selections, order materials, and communicate clearly with homebuyers. This role requires proactive leadership and a strong customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• Residential construction experience.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and site plans.
• Able to collaborate effectively in a team.
• Demonstrates active listening, confidence, and respectful communication.
• Uses a customer-service approach in previous roles.
• Ability to learn various job technologies.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire construction process from start to finish on site.
• Serve as on-site leader for your assigned neighborhood.
• Oversee quality control, scheduling of trade partners, and installations.
• Maintain site safety, cleanliness, and efficiency.
• Communicate with homebuyers and homeowners; hold meetings as needed.
• Order materials, review selections, and coordinate with sales/purchasing/construction teams.
