Job summary

Tuff Shed is seeking a Field Construction Technician – DOT to join our team. You will deliver storage buildings, perform warranty repairs on-site, and support customers with service and delivery tasks across Home Depot stores and client properties.

Role requires strong carpentry basics, tool use, safe driving, and DOT compliance. You will communicate with management and customers, ensuring timely, quality service with a focus on safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of construction industry and basic carpentry skills.
• Ability to read tape measure, drawings and speed square.
• Ability to operate basic power tools and air tools.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read, write and understand instructions.
• Effective communication with customers and partners.
• Basic understanding of local permit requirements (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Safely delivers Tuff Shed buildings to stores, properties, and lots.
• Performs warranty repairs on-site with courtesy and timeliness.
• Provides feedback on warranty eligibility to management.
