Job summary

Tuff Shed, Inc. is hiring a Field Construction Technician – DOT to deliver and install storage buildings, perform warranty repairs, and provide excellent customer service across customer sites and events.

The role requires basic carpentry, roofing, and painting skills, plus CDL- or DOT-related responsibilities. You will manage scheduling, document inspections, and ensure vehicle safety while interacting with customers, partners, and the field team.

Qualifications

• Construction knowledge with basic carpentry, roofing and painting skills.
• Ability to read tape measures and working drawings; use of speed square.
• Proficient in operating basic power tools and air tools; able to troubleshoot.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities; good communication.

Responsibilities

• Safely delivers Tuff Shed buildings to stores, properties, and lots.
• Performs warranty repairs on customer sites, within scheduled timeframes.
• Supports off-site events and maintains product displays and marketing materials.
• Logs DOT hours, performs pre/post-trip inspections, and coordinates with management.
