Job summary

Tuff Shed, Inc. is seeking a Field Construction Technician – DOT to join our team and help deliver high-quality storage buildings to customers and Home Depot stores. The role includes warranty repair work on-site, customer service, and DOT compliance.

You will be responsible for safe delivery, documentation of on-site activities, and communicating maintenance needs for vehicles and tools. Strong carpentry and basic construction skills are preferred, along with reliable driving experience.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of the construction industry with basic carpentry, roofing, and painting skills.
• Ability to read tape measure, working drawings, and speed square.

Responsibilities

• Safely delivers Tuff Shed buildings to Home Depot stores, customer properties, and retail lots.
• Performs warranty repairs on customer sites.
• Delivers excellent customer service to current and prospective customers.
• Logs on-duty hours and inspects DOT vehicle as required by DOT and company policy.
• Maintains and updates maintenance and safety practices for tools and vehicles.
