Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking a capable construction professional for a project site in Phoenix, AZ. You will coordinate site operations, schedule work, track quality, and manage subcontractors to ensure safe, on-time delivery.

Responsibilities include daily reporting, progress photos, and ensuring latest drawings are used. Travel is 100% and salary ranges are communicated during hiring.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of construction or field operations experience.
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of construction or field operations experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience. The degree must be in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate overall field operations with the site construction lead, including scheduling, daily reporting, quality control and subcontractor communication.
• Oversee subcontractors and construction activities to ensure safety, quality and alignment with drawings and specifications.
• Ensure work adheres to the project schedule; escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Prepare Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports as official project records.
• Take progress photos and label each photograph for records.
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports under the Project Construction Manager.
• Ensure contractors use the latest design drawing revisions for construction.
• May assist the Project Construction Manager or provide support to the project team.
• May manage key trades or subcontractors in support of the project.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments with the Project Manager.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent + 9 years experience in construction/field operations

Associate degree + 6 years experience in construction/field operations

Bachelor’s degree + 3 years relevant experience in Construction Management/Engineering
