Job summary

Clark Construction Group seeks an Assistant Superintendent to coordinate field operations for specific trades on a project. You will ensure work follows the project schedule, contract documents, and safety standards, while supervising crews, managing equipment, and maintaining cost discipline on site.

The role requires an undergraduate degree in engineering or related field and 3+ years of construction management experience in a supervisory capacity. Procore/PlanGrid experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or related discipline.
• 3+ years of construction management experience in a field supervisory role.
• Ability to direct the work of others including subcontractors and suppliers.
• Working knowledge of the construction process including scheduling, contract administration, equipment, manpower.
• Safety knowledge with OSHA regulations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate installation of work in accordance with contract documents, project schedule, and planned sequence of work.
• Be aware of project milestone dates and requirements to achieve them.
• Understand the scope of work for assigned areas/trades and duration of activities.
• Apply knowledge of equipment capability and develop plans for optimum utilization.
• Know delivery dates for materials/equipment affecting assigned areas/trades.
• Supervise field workforce and manage costs to align with budgets and expectations.
• Implement the safety program with regular inspections and hazard recognition.
• Maintain good working relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
