Job summary

Clark Construction Group, LLC is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to coordinate field operations across specific areas and trades on a project. You will ensure work aligns with the schedule and implement safety and quality control procedures.

A hands-on role on active sites with a strong emphasis on coordination and leadership. You will supervise subcontractors, manage budgets, and drive proactive safety practices while maintaining relationships with suppliers and industry professionals to

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or related field preferred.
• 3–6 years of construction management in a field supervisory role.
• Ability to direct the work of others including subcontractors and suppliers.
• Working knowledge of the construction process including scheduling, contract administration, equipment, manpower.
• Well versed in safety and government regulations (OSHA) with success in job-site implementation.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate installation of work in accordance with contract documents, project schedule, and sequence of work.
• Be aware of milestone dates and requirements to achieve them.
• Develop understanding of activity durations.
• Apply knowledge of equipment capability and plan for optimum utilization.
• Know material and equipment delivery dates impacting areas/trades.
• Supervise field workforce to keep work within budget and expectations.
• Implement and enforce safety programs and inspections per standards.
• Maintain good relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Identify and develop relationships with industry professionals to win work.
• Assist in recruiting top industry talent for Clark team.
• Exceed stakeholders' expectations by anticipating needs and goals.
