Job summary

ARCO is seeking a Superintendent to lead field operations, ensure safety, quality, and on-time project completion. This role requires coordinating with PMs, subcontractors, and owners, while maintaining project cost and schedule controls.

Travel nationwide is expected, with a strong emphasis on leadership and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will bring 5+ years of construction experience, proficiency with standard office software, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction experience
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and project scheduling software
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Ability to travel cross-country as needed

Responsibilities

• Attend post-award review and receive project details for preplanning
• Develop project schedule with PM and allocate resources
• Direct and control construction to meet specs and schedule
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure integration with project timelines
• Maintain safety and quality control procedures on site
• Prepare progress and cost reports reflecting actuals
• Report progress to PM and regional manager
• Maintain daily diary of project facts and decisions
• Lead site meetings and communicate with owner/architect reps
