Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Intermediate Construction Professional to perform field engineering, site administration, estimating, scheduling, and safety support at client project sites.

This 100% field-based role involves coordinating with site leads, producing daily reports and quality inspections, and ensuring drawings and specifications are followed. Occasional travel across the United States is required.

Qualifications

• The candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent with 9+ years of relevant field experience.
• Associate or bachelor degrees must be in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience supporting field operations, scheduling, reporting, and safety is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist and coordinate with site construction lead on field operations and scheduling.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure safety, quality, and conformance to drawings.
• Maintain project records, write daily and quality inspection reports, and capture progress photos.
• Prepare monthly progress reports and verify latest design drawings are used.
• Support project management with contract extras and progress payments.
