Job summary

CDM Smith is seeking an Intermediate Construction Professional to perform field engineering, site administration and construction support at client project sites. Work is conducted from field or office, under general supervision, with heavy focus on site operations, scheduling and quality control.

Responsibilities include assisting the site lead, coordinating with subcontractors, generating daily and quality reports, and maintaining project records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience. The associate or bachelor's degree must be in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Assist and coordinate with the site construction lead on field operations, scheduling, daily reports and QC.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure safety, quality and conformance to drawings.
• Maintain project schedule and escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Prepare Daily Reports, Quality Inspection Reports and Monthly Progress Reports.
• Capture progress photos and maintain organized site records and communications.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent + 9 years of relevant experience

Associate degree + 6 years of relevant experience

Bachelor’s degree + 3 years of relevant experience (Construction Management, Engineering, or related)
