Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline with 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Associate degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent plus 9 years of relevant experience.
• OSHA 30 certification is preferred for site safety oversight.

Responsibilities

• Assist and coordinate with the field construction lead on overall field operations, scheduling, daily and quality reports, and communication with subcontractors.
• Oversee subcontractors and construction ensuring safety, quality, and conformance to drawings and specifications.
• Ensure work adheres to project schedule; escalate delays to Project Construction Manager.
• Prepare and review Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for project records.
• Take progress photographs and label each image for record keeping.
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports and ensure contractors use latest design revision drawings.
• Assist Project Construction Manager as needed and support key trades/subcontractors.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments in coordination with the Project Manager.
• Maintain professional communication with project management and clients regarding issues.
• Maintain on-site records per CDM Smith document control requirements.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline

High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of relevant experience
