CDM Smith seeks an Intermediate Construction Professional to perform field engineering, site administration, and construction support at client project sites. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and coordination with subcontractors across heavy industrial projects.

Responsibilities include daily reporting, progress tracking, photograph documentation, and ensuring use of up-to-date drawings while aligning with project timelines. 100% travel is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of relevant experience.
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience; degree must be in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Assist and coordinate with the site construction lead on field operations including scheduling, daily and quality control reports.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to drawings.
• Ensure work aligns with the project schedule and escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Prepare Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports; maintain record documents.
• Take progress photographs and label each image for records.
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports and ensure latest design drawings are used.
