Qualifications

• Experience implementing field safety programs for construction projects.
• Ability to interpret government policies and recommendations.
• Knowledge of federal, state, local and company safety regulations.
• Experience administering drug and alcohol testing in accordance with requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manages and implements the field safety program and team for construction projects.
• Communicates safety philosophies and values of the Company with safety team members and project staff to ensure understanding and compliance.
• Acts as a resource to help staff interpret safety policies and recommendations.
• Compiles accident statistics and recommends changes to the safety program.
• Administers and monitors safety testing in accordance with requirements.
• Implements reporting protocols for accidents and incidents.
• Provides assistance in accident investigations and abatement implementation.
• Works with insurance contacts on claims and monitors medical treatment.
• Conducts regular safety audits and follows up to ensure abatement.
• Develops training strategies and supports training objectives.
