Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is seeking a Construction Safety Manager to support AWS DCPD programs in Texas. The role partners with Real Estate, Due Diligence, Permitting, and Construction teams to drive safety culture and program compliance across projects.

Responsibilities include leading site visits, safety plan reviews, and cross-team coordination with vendors. Travel to domestic locations may be required; strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience.
• 8+ years of construction health & safety experience on active projects.
• 4+ Years Experience Leading EHS Programs on Construction Projects.

Responsibilities

• Review due diligence risk assessments with real estate, pre-construction and construction ops on H&S aspects.
• Coordinate with DCPD managers to prioritize H&S in planning and execution across all project phases.
• Ensure and monitor GC and AWS vendors' onboarding compliance in Avetta.
• Conduct H&S kickoff sessions and review contractors' Safety Plans.
• Document data in standard reporting tools for leadership teams.
