Job summary

AWS Data Center Planning and Delivery seeks a Construction Safety Manager – DCPD to drive health and safety across major projects in the Columbus/Jeffersonville area. You will partner with Real Estate, Permitting, Construction, and Procurement teams to ensure compliance with SMP and jurisdictional requirements.

In this field-based role, you will lead safety programs, conduct site visits, review risk assessments, and coordinate with contractors and vendors.

Qualifications

5+ years of program or project management in construction/health & safety.
6+ years of construction health & safety on active projects.
2+ years leading EHS programs on multi-site construction.
CHST certification or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead H&S program development, planning and compliance across DCPD projects.
Coordinate with DCPD managers to prioritize H&S in planning and execution.
Monitor onboarding of GC and AWS deployment vendors in Avetta.
Conduct site visits and reviews of contractor Construction Safety Management Plans.
Analyze data and reports to identify safety risks and improvement opportunities.
