Job summary

BB&E Inc. is seeking a Construction Surveillance Engineering Technician to support NAVFAC SE HQ, PWD, and ROICC at Naval Air Station Corpus Christi, TX.

The role focuses on coordinating the construction quality management program on assigned projects and ensuring compliance with contract specifications. Ideal candidates have 5 years as a QC Manager on NAVFAC/USACE work or 10 years as a foreman in relevant trades, plus USACE CQM Certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as a Quality Control Manager on NAVFAC or USACE projects.
• Or 10 years as foreman in concrete, mechanical, electrical, masonry, or carpentry.
• Completion of USACE Construction CQM Certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the construction quality management program for assigned projects.
• Review contractor QC plans and provide recommendations for approval.
• Attend QC and preparatory meetings, monitor three-phase checklists.
• Provide remarks on QA reports and witness testing/commissioning of systems.
• Verify materials on site and assist with invoicing approvals.
