Job summary

BB&E Inc. is seeking a Construction Surveillance Engineer to supportNAVFAC Southeast in Jacksonville, FL. The role involves inspection, QA, schedule analysis, and contract administration for repair, demolition, and new construction projects.

You will coordinate permits, monitor compliance, and prepare official reports and cost assessments. Qualified candidates will have 7+ years in construction management, an ABET-accredited engineering degree or equivalent, OSHA 30, and USACE CQM certification

Qualifications

• Proficiency with Primavera Suretrak/P3/P6 and MS Project
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Acrobat
• Experience with RS Means/CostWorks for cost estimates
• Strong written and oral English communication skills
• Experience managing multi-year construction programs and RFIs

Responsibilities

• Provide construction inspection, QA, and contract administration support
• Coordinate outage permits, excavation permits, and haul routes
• Attend and summarize preconstruction, safety, and QC meetings
• Prepare Construction Representatives' Reports and CCCNs
• Review submittals for Government approval and monitor CQC compliance
• Analyze and review progress schedules and contractor safety plans
• Prepare independent cost estimates for modifications and change orders
• Maintain eCMS documentation and manage RFIs with contractor reps
