Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an Intermediate Construction Professional to perform field engineering, site administration, design and construction oversight on client projects.

This position is 100% in the field, traveling across the United States to coordinate with site teams, prepare daily and monthly reports, and ensure safety and quality in line with drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 certification required or preferred.
• High school diploma plus 9 years of relevant construction experience.
• Associate degree plus 6 years of relevant experience; Bachelor’s plus 3 years recommended.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with site construction lead on field operations, scheduling, daily and quality control reports.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure safety, quality and conformance to drawings and specs.
• Ensure work aligns with project schedule; escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Write Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review with site lead and Project Construction Manager.
• Capture progress photographs and label them for records.
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports and ensure use of latest design drawings.
