Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking a Site Construction Manager to oversee on-site field operations for client projects across the United States. The role focuses on safety, quality control, scheduling, and contract conformance, representing the company at the job site.

The selected candidate will manage field teams, liaise with clients, and ensure drawings and specifications are followed. Travel is extensive, with work 100% in the field.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent with substantial construction experience.
  • Associate or higher degree with relevant experience preferred.
  • Degrees must be in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline; 3+ years in CM/Supervision recommended.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees subcontractors and construction to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to drawings.
  • Ensures work aligns with project schedule and escalates delays to the Project Construction Manager.
  • Writes Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for record keeping.
  • Takes site photos and labels them for progress tracking.
  • Prepares Monthly Progress Reports.
  • Ensures contractors use latest design drawing revisions for construction.
  • Assist Project Construction Manager as needed.
  • Prepares contract extras and progress payments with Project Manager.
