Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks a Site Construction Manager to lead field operations at client project sites across the United States. You will oversee safety, quality, scheduling, drawings compliance, and client relations for assigned projects, representing the company on site.

Work is performed in the field with responsibility for coordinating subcontractors, maintaining records, and ensuring adherence to project scope and schedule.

Qualifications

• 12 years of relevant experience with a high school diploma
• Associate degree plus 9 years of relevant experience in Construction Management/Supervision
• Bachelor’s degree plus 6 years of relevant experience in Construction Management/Supervision

Responsibilities

• Oversee subcontractors and construction to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to drawings and specifications.
• Maintain the project schedule and escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Prepare daily and quality inspection reports as records.
• Capture progress photos and organize according to project requirements.
• Produce monthly progress reports for stakeholders.
• Ensure contractors use the latest design revision during construction.
• Assist the Project Construction Manager as needed.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments with project team.
• Communicate professionally with project management and clients on issues.
• Maintain on-site records per document control procedures.
