Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, seeks a Site Construction Manager to lead field operations on client projects nationwide. This 100% field role represents the company at project sites, manages safety, quality control, scheduling, drawings conformance, and client relationships.

Responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors, producing daily and monthly reports, maintaining records, and supporting the Project Manager. Travel is 100% across projects in the heavy industrial sector.

Qualifications

• Experience leading field construction on heavy industrial projects.
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors and site safety.
• Strong written and verbal communication and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversees subcontractors and construction to ensure work is safe, correct, meets quality control measures, and the drawings' intent.
• Ensures work adheres to the project schedule; escalates delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Writes Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports for review with site construction lead or Project Construction Manager.
• Takes progress photographs of construction events and labels each photograph.
• Prepares Monthly Progress Reports.
• Ensures contractors use the latest design drawing revisions for construction.
• Prepares contract extras and progress payments with the Project Manager for client approval.
• Provides proper correspondence with project management and clients to handle issues clearly and professionally.
• Maintains on-site records per The Perry Group document control requirements.
• Adheres to The Perry Group Quality Policy and Quality Systems Work Instructions.
• Travel: 100% across US projects.
• Assists Project Construction Manager as needed.
