LaBella Associates in Orange, Connecticut seeks a Field Construction Manager to oversee electric utility projects. You will inspect contractor activities, coordinate onsite work, prepare daily to monthly reports, and ensure safety and design compliance.

The role requires outdoor work, travel, and strong communication skills. A degree in engineering or construction and 4+ years of relevant experience are preferred, with benefits including health and retirement programs.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction related field preferred.
• 4+ years of Electric Transmission, Distribution or Substation experience required.
• OSHA 10 or 30 preferred.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions required.
• Computer skills Word, Excel, Outlook required.
• Working knowledge Electric Utility Industry required.
• Willingness to travel required.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills required.

Responsabilidades

• Work closely with the Project Manager for day-to-day operations.
• Assure contractor obligation and adherence to design plans, change orders, RFIs, MOC, etc.
• Document contractor day to day activities.
• Demonstrates leadership in health, safety and environmental protection on the project.
• Keep written/photographs and records onsite to document project to client standards.
• Ensure installation is in accordance with Utilities Construction Standards and applicable laws.
