Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking a field operations professional for a project-based role at our site in Phoenix, Arizona. This position involves coordinating field operations with the site construction lead, overseeing subcontractors, and ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with drawings and specifications.

You will prepare daily and quality inspection reports, maintain on-site records, and assist with monthly progress reports while ensuring the latest design

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus nine (9) years of construction or field operations experience.
• Associate degree plus six (6) years of construction or field operations experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three (3) years of relevant experience. The associate or bachelor’s degree must be in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate overall field operations with the site construction lead, including project scheduling, daily reporting, quality control, and subcontractor communication.
• Oversee subcontractors and construction activities to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with drawings and specifications.
• Ensure adherence to the project schedule and escalate delays to Project Construction Manager.
• Prepare Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports; maintain official project records.
• Capture progress photos and label each photograph for documentation.
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports and ensure up-to-date design drawings are used on site.
• Communicate with project management and clients clearly and professionally; maintain on-site files per standards.
