Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company in Houston is seeking a Lead Construction Supervisor to plan, coordinate and oversee crew, equipment and materials for safe, efficient project execution. You will ensure equipment is operated and maintained, maintain reports, and support weekly scheduling and sequencing activities.

The role requires strong communication, safety leadership, and the ability to manage costs while upholding TIC's standards. Overtime, nights, and weekends may be required based on workload.

Qualifications

• Must be a good communicator, motivator and team player.
• Ability to demonstrate thorough knowledge to perform all essential functions.
• Ability to plan tasks safely and efficiently while training safety practices.
• Understanding of scheduling, material control and job cost management systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and organize people, equipment, tools and materials to promote safe, efficient and timely construction.
• Ensure construction equipment is correctly operated and maintained.
• Maintain accurate reporting records including job quantities, productivity rates, time sheets and daily management reports.
• Assist in developing a weekly schedule and sequencing activities for the crew.
• Ensure timely completion of work within estimated costs while upholding quality workmanship.
• Uphold safety of crew and enforce company/government safety rules.
• Develop and maintain crew attitude by toolbox meetings and communicating safety concerns, work scope, plans and schedules.
• Monitor compliance with company policies.
