Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking a field operations professional to coordinate construction activities at our Phoenix project site. You will work with the site construction lead on scheduling, reporting, safety, and quality control to ensure drawings and specs are followed.

Responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors, preparing daily and quality reports, maintaining records, and supporting the Project Construction Manager with progress reports and payments.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent plus nine years of construction or field operations experience.
• Associate degree plus six years of construction or field operations experience.
• Bachelor’s degree plus three years of relevant experience; degrees must be in Construction Management, Engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate overall field operations with the site construction lead, including scheduling, daily reporting, quality control, and subcontractor communication.
• Oversee subcontractors and construction activities to ensure safety, quality, and adherence to drawings and specs.
• Maintain project schedule adherence and escalate delays to the Project Construction Manager.
• Prepare Daily Reports and Quality Inspection Reports as official project records.
• Take progress photos and label them for reference.
• Assist with Monthly Progress Reports and ensure use of latest design revisions in construction.
• Assist the Project Construction Manager and support key trade/subcontractor needs as required.
• Prepare contract extras and progress payments with the Project Manager for client approval.
• Maintain clear correspondence with project management and clients; manage on-site records per policies.

Education
