Job summary

Oxford Construction is seeking a Superintendent I to lead field coordination and execution on assigned projects, ensuring safety, schedule, and quality standards are met. You will work closely with Project Managers and senior leadership to monitor progress and drive on-site decisions.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in construction management (preferred) with 2–3 years in construction field operations or as a superintendent, plus strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field; 2–3 years field ops or superintendent experience.
• Experience with construction scheduling, look-ahead planning, and trade coordination.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Procore or Bluebeam preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review drawings, specs, schedules, and scopes prior to work.
• Identify field risks, constraints, and sequencing issues.
• Develop and maintain look-ahead schedules (2–3 week horizon).
• Coordinate subcontractors for trade readiness before mobilization.
• Attend OAC and project meetings with field-driven updates.
• Enforce safety plans and address unsafe conditions.
• Inspect work for quality and compliance.
• Track progress and elevate risks or delays.
