The successful candidate will serve as a key point of contact between the project management team, field personnel, contractors, inspectors, and other stakeholders.
Key responsibilities include planning and sequencing construction activities, monitoring progress against project schedules, coordinating deliveries and site logistics, and resolving field issues promptly. The Superintendent will also participate in meetings, coordinate inspections, track manpower and productivity, identify potential delays, and communicate risks or changes to project leadership. Effective communication, sound judgement, leadership, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced site environment. A relevant trade qualification, construction management diploma, or equivalent practical experience is preferred. The role may require travel, extended hours, and work in varying weather and site conditions.
