Job summary

PulteGroup is hiring a Construction Manager for Hilton Head, SC to oversee daily trade partner activities, review drawings, and ensure on-time home construction with quality and safety compliance.

You will manage schedules, coordinate with teams, and maintain strong communication with customers throughout the build process. A degree or equivalent experience and 2–4 years of relevant work are required.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience in high-production construction environments.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans.

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling and supervision of daily trade partner activities and evaluate quality and efficiency.
• Review and modify construction drawings when plan conflicts arise.
• Monitor project schedules and adjust resources to ensure timely completion.
• Ensure homes are completed on schedule and meet contract obligations and safety standards.
• Maintain proactive customer communications throughout the construction process.
• Collaborate with sales and other teams to manage community performance and customer activities.
• Perform daily site inspections for safety and compliance with codes and company standards.
• Authorize field POs for materials and labor as needed.
• Evaluate trade partner workmanship and authorize payments when standards are met.
• Participate in trade partner recruitment and vetting.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
