Job summary

PulteGroup is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee daily trade partner activities, scheduling, and quality across a Hoschton-area community. The role emphasizes safety compliance, on-time home completion, and close coordination with sales, product development, and purchasing teams.

You will review drawings, authorize field purchases, manage budgets, and ensure excellent customer experiences through proactive communication and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Minimum 1–2 years of construction experience or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to read blueprints and manage construction processes

Responsibilities

• Oversee scheduling and supervision of daily trade partner activities and evaluate quality and efficiency of work
• Review and modify construction drawings when plan errors or conflicts arise
• Evaluate project schedules and adjust resources to reflect project needs to ensure timely completion
• Ensure each home is completed on schedule and all contractual obligations and safety protocols are met
• Stop any work that is noncompliant with plans, specifications, or code
• Manage the customer experience throughout construction with regular updates and issue resolution
• Collaborate with Community Sales to manage performance and customer activities
• Conduct daily site inspections for safety and Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan compliance
• Take action to maintain a safe working environment and compliance
• Authorize payments to trade partners when standards are met
• Collaborate with Product Development, Process Improvement, Resource Planning, and Purchasing teams on plan quality and budget challenges
• Evaluate trade partner work against local/state/federal codes and company standards
• Participate in trade partner recruiting and vetting
• Other duties as assigned
